Donating

   The Neighbors Foundation exists only thru financial and food donations. It is made up of community volunteers. The Officers, Directors and workers are all volunteers. All of your tax deductible contribution is used for helping others. We cannot help our neighbors without your help!

Financial

    We encourage donations sent by check to Neighbors Foundation, P. O. Box 155, Grand Island NY 14072. The Grand Island Neighbors Foundation is an IRS authorized 501 c3 charitable organization; all donations are fully tax deductible.

    Donations are especially welcome at the Holiday Season, through our ‘Share Your Happiness’ campaign, where all donations are acknowledged in local media and Internet sites (although anonymous donations are, of course, welcome).

Food

    Maintaining a useful and current food pantry requires a steady supply of donated non-perishable food, toiletries and household supplies. The local Postal Workers bring us a successful drive every spring, school children donate at the Holiday season, groups such as Little League, Scouts and businesses help. Individual donations are equally welcome. Unfortunately, the Foundation has no facilities for safely handling perishable food, and cannot accept such donations, no matter how well-intentioned.
